The Centennial Feminist Tarot
Created in honor of the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment in 2020, which granted women the right to vote, this newly imagined Major Arcana commemorates a century of feminism in the United States.
The archetypes of the cards have been changed to reflect empowerment and activism.
Technology
This deck was created using stereoscopic imaging, or a technique for creating the illusion of depth through anaglyph images. Best seen through 3D glasses, through a red lens, the image of a suffragette is visible. Through a green lens, you can see a 'modern day' feminist with a connecting story.
